Really? What’s there not to love about this place? I don’t suppose I’m the only one who’s happy to be here…..?
You’re one of the only ones, that’s for sure. I’m looking on the sunny side, though, so you’re not alone.

Ummm…yeah. Well…I was always moving from place to place all the time so I never really had time to settle down and get use to anything so it’s kinda weird just being here knowing this is now “home” if you can call it that…
I’m hoping to soon call it home. I think once we all get used to it, we’ll become more accustomed to it. I’m just trying to look on the bright side of things, haha.

Hi Harry, Kinda of like Harry Potter? Thouh I wont call you that, It would be rude. Hehe, How are you?
I’ve heard like harry potter a million times, so..Plus I’m from London so that doesn’t help much haha. I’m pretty good considering the circumstances. How about you?

Yeah…it’s nice to finally be in a place that I can call “home.” Still getting use to the place, I’d unpack but you know, it’s not like I have anything to unpack except my backpack.
Woah, seriously? Just a backpack? I think someone’s in need of a shopping spree.

Is that right? Well then, we can be hopelessly lost newbies together! Seems everyone is knew. I didn’t catch your name…. Who are you, exactly?
Yeah everyone pretty much is, ahha. I’m Harry and you are?

“Awesome? R-really. Well that’s a f-first.” she said as she looked forward while walking. Raising an eyebrow as she looked back at him, Erika smiled. “Oh I’m s-sure nothing c-could ruin your manly i-image, unless it w-was dressing u-up in p-pink dresses or s-something” Erika laughed quietly. Hearing the sound her own laugh, Erika couldn’t help but smile to herself looking forward again. It had truly been quie a while since she laughed. Erika couldn’t even recall the last time, but with Harry it seemed like she could tell there would be plenty more times that she would laugh and Erika was pleased with that.
It was weird to her, Erika usually was ignored by people, and if she wasn’t ignored then that was the point where Erika would wish she was. But looking over at Harry and smiling, she could tell he wasn’t like the people she had known back at home. He didn’t mind her speech problem and he just tried to get to know her. Which made Erika happy to know. At first she was a bit scared to even talk when Harry had come to get her, she honestly felt like she was going to bore him or something but that was truly poor judgement on her side. Erika was glad to have him as her friend but still had the feeling of this being just a joke or something on her. It was hard to believe he took the time to even hangout with her really.
“Drawing is a-an amaz-zing skill to have. I w-wish I could-d” Erika nodded slowly as she stared off at their path. “You c-can always c-capture true beaut-t-y if you draw it ou-t-t” she said. Erika had always been told that, a picture could get the moment but when people drew them. The beauty of the whole moment is captured more. “Silly th-thought I know.” Erika shrugged. “I’m sure e-everyone sounds q-quiet silly in the shower w-when they s-sing.” she nodded once again.
Harry laughed at her pink dresses comment. “Oh but you know I’d be sexy if I wore those. I could even straighten my hair. It’ll probably be pretty long,” he joked. Hearing her laugh was like music to his ears. Considering she was crying when he spoke to her last, this was a huge improvement. He smiled widely, glad he could bring at least a little joy to her life, especially in a time like this. He would try to make her forget about what she left out there just for a few hours so she wouldn’t be so worried. Plus, he needed to forget too. He left little brothers out there to die, of course he was worried. He just always put on a brave face and never let it show. Ever.
He smiled back at her. She seemed a lot better and for that he was grateful. “Thanks. It’s pretty cool, I guess.” He shook his head, “It’s not silly. It’s true. A picture is worth a thousand words after all.” He laughed at her shower comment. “Yeah, that’s true. Everyone also thinks they’re going to be the next grammy winning pop star.”
They came to the garden area and Harry pushed open the door, holding it for Erika to walk through first. He was tall so he could see over her head anyway. He smiled at the sight. Never in his life had he seen flowers so colorful. He’d only seen pictures from the 2000s, which always made him want to live during those times instead. During a time where the world wasn’t contaminated. “Wow,” he breathed.
Hmmm…well, let’s just say I’ve been in and out of foster homes ever since I can imagine. Now, that’s pretty bad to me. Well….changing the topic…..what’s up?
Ah, I get why you’re happy to be here, then. Not much, just settling in. You?

I’m Ryan, and I’m the newb. But I’m cool, promise. For all of you that have been here longer than me, show me around and stuff? Thanks, I’d appreciate it.
I would, mate, but I just got here myself.

Hi. My names Scarlet, Its nice to meet you all.
I’m Harry, nice to meet you, Scarlet.

Oh now…I’m sure you don’t want to listen to me babble on about how my life sucked until I came here. Besides, I don’t want to bury you under all my problems, that wouldn’t exactly make a very good first impression on you would it now?
I guess you’re right, but I’m sure it can’t be that bad. I’m not going to ask you about it, though.
